Mission Statement
"Developing the leadership gifts in tomorrow's leaders, today."
Purpose Statement
At the heart of Apex Ministries (a non-profit 501
(c)3 foundation) is the desire to produce servant leaders. We ignite
people's relationship with Christ; connect them to service
opportunities and equip them to serve God "glocally" throughout
their life.
IGNITE (ig-nite,
verb.): Jesus made it clear that our highest priority is to love God
with all of our being and the second priority is to love those He
puts into our path.
CONNECT (con-nect,
verb. : Unlike the mountain top experience, where when you are done
you only leave your footprint, Apex Ministries' experiences are
designed to produce a lasting impacts on people's lives and the
communities that we serve.
EQUIP (e-kwip, verb):
The ultimate goal of what we do is not the service opportunity
itself, but rather developing a changed attitude in the heart
resulting in a life of servant leadership.
Matthew 22:37-40 & Matthew 28:18
Statement of Faith
1. We believe that the Bible (Old and New Testament) is the
only infallible and inspired Word of God.
2. We believe in the one God, existent as the Holy
Trinity-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in God's son Jesus Christ, the virgin birth, His
sinless life on earth as a man, His death on the cross as a
substitutionary atonement for our sins, His resurrection from the
dead, and that He now sits at the right hand of the Father in
Heaven.
4. We believe that all men are sinful and have been separated
from a relationship with God. Jesus' atonement bridged man and God
back in to fellowship. Man cannot earn this gift, but rather it is a
gift of grace bestowed on man by the regenerating power of the Holy
Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ.
5. We believe that the Holy Spirit works through the Church
and those who profess Christ as Lord. As a commitment to Jesus
Christ, we are to live according to the scriptures and Jesus'
teachings.
6. We believe in the resurrection of man and that Jesus will
redeem believers into Heaven and condemn unbelievers to Hell.
7. We believe that followers of Christ are commissioned by God
to spread the Gospel, fellowship together, and reach out to the
hurting, needy, and unsaved.
