Who is Apex Ministries?

	Thrive adventures focuses on our future leaders, young people, ages 18-25 and the development of their servant leadership strengths. We do this on short-term adventures in Jamaica and hope to expand to many places around the world. Our goal is to Ignite, Connect and Equip these young people for servant leadership wherever God plans to use them. On these adventures team members experience the opportunity to serve others while their own lives are being changed forever.
Thrive Encounters
	Thrive Encounter focuses on Adult and Family groups. These trips provide a short-term missions trip encounter that will create incredible memories, lasting friendships, family bonding and spiritual renewal! It is our conviction that everyone, young and old, needs to get out of the comfort of the church pew and experience a cross-cultural ministry. You will be amazed at what God can and will do with you and those who go with you on a trip to a 3rd world country.
Thrive in Jamaica
	Thrive in Jamaica focuses on the people of Jamaica. God has called us to help the church in Jamaica reach out with love to those who need to Jesus as their personal Savior. We do this by building relationships with the Jamaican church leaders while serving the people. Besides helping with many construction projects, amongst other things, we have a vision to set up computer labs in rural communities so that so that they can have access to a computer and hopefully, where possible, the Internet.
Thrive in Education
	Thrive in Education focuses on helping schools here at home help schools there in Jamaica. Our efforts will be spent on identifying schools in Jamaica and there needs and then identifying teachers here who are willing to do a class or school-wide fundraising projects, establish student to student communications and collect supplies that can be sent to schools in Jamaica. Our hope is to someday be able to send a container full of supplies.
Thrive at Home
	Thrive at home focuses on patterning with local church and Para-church ministries. Partnering with High School and college age ministries like; Washington Student Leadership, The Inn, Pro Athletes Outreach and Run to Win, just to name a few, helps to continue what takes place during one of our trips. (see the partners in ministry page for a list of and links to our many partners in ministry) These partnerships increase our potential to reach future leaders.
Thrive in the Church
	Thrive in the Church focuses on the local church pastors and their family. We understand that God uses the local church to minister to His people; It is where the lion's share of ministry happens. We want to do our best to help meet the needs of the pastors in our circle of influence and hopefully serve as an example to other ministries to do the same. As we continue to grow, we want to help establish relationships between a local church here in the US and a local church in Jamaica. We want to do the same with youth groups. We want to take trips to other countries as well as locations in need here in the US. We also want to begin offering High School and College age advances, (formerly known as retreats). These would be set up like mini trips, having those who attend learn by doing rather than by just listening.
